Teen Driving

Help new drivers become great ones.

iProtect247 notices drives on its own, scores every trip, and shows the week at a glance, so you can coach with facts instead of worry.

  • AutomaticNo buttons to remember.
  • Every trip scoredWith the route and events.
  • Crash detectionChecks in after a hard impact.
Ava’s driving this week: score 93, 5 trips, 20.4 miles, one speeding and one hard braking event, and a trip map in Austin.
What’s included

Coach with facts, not worry.

  • Drives detected automatically

Trips start and end on their own, using the phone’s motion sensors. Nothing to switch on before driving.

  • Every trip scored

Speeding, phone use, hard braking and fast acceleration, scored out of 100, with the route on a map.

  • A weekly score

Trips, miles, top speed and events for each driver, so you see the trend, not just one bad day.

  • Crash detection

After a hard impact it asks if they’re OK. No answer, and the circle is alerted with where they are.

  • “I was a passenger”

Rode with someone else? Mark the trip and it no longer counts toward their score.

  • Just their phone

No device to plug into the car. The app and the phone they already carry are enough.

How it works

Simple to set up. Quiet until it matters.

  1. Step 1: Allow location and motion

iProtect247 asks once, and explains why: it needs both to notice when a drive starts.

  2. Step 2: Drive as usual

Trips are recorded and scored in the background. Nothing to start or stop.

  3. Step 3: Review the week together

Look at the score, the trips and where events happened. Coach the moments that matter.

Driving stays inside the family

Each driver’s trips are shared with their own circle only. We never sell driving data, to insurers or anyone else.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Do we need a device in the car?

No. iProtect247 uses the phone’s own motion sensors and location to notice drives and score them.

How is the score calculated?

Speeding, phone use, hard braking and fast acceleration lower the score, counted per ten miles driven, so a long weekend drive isn’t punished for its length.

What if they were a passenger?

They can mark the trip “I was a passenger”, and it stops counting toward their score.

What does crash detection do?

After a hard impact, the phone asks if they’re OK. If there’s no answer, everyone in the circle is alerted with where they are.
